Aesthetic Technician

The Department of Aesthetic Technician focuses on the study of practical beauty techniques, personal care procedures, and the hands-on vocational skills required to deliver professional aesthetic and grooming services to clients. It equips students with knowledge of skin care routines, facial treatments, hair care, nail technology, makeup application, waxing, and basic cosmetic product usage essential to everyday beauty and personal care practice.

Objectives
  1. Provide foundational knowledge in basic skin anatomy, personal hygiene, cosmetic product types, and the safety standards essential to responsible aesthetic technician practice.
  2. Develop students' understanding of core beauty techniques including facial care, skin cleansing, hair styling, nail care, makeup application, and basic body treatments.
  3. Train students in the correct and safe use of beauty tools, salon equipment, and cosmetic products applicable to a wide range of client aesthetic needs and preferences.
  4. Enhance practical hands-on skills through supervised salon-based workshops, client interaction sessions, and technique demonstration exercises relevant to daily beauty service delivery.
  5. Prepare diploma graduates for employment in beauty salons, hair and nail studios, hotel spas, bridal centers, cosmetic retail shops, and personal care service providers.
